Frequently Asked Questions
What is Life Coaching?
How do I choose a Life Coach?
Generally, clients come to a Life Coach when they are facing a specific challenge in their life or when they want to achieve something that is out of their comfort zone.
The Coach will ask questions to help them gain greater clarity on what it is that they want and will support them to take positive action to help move them from where they are now to where they want to be.

Life Coaching is a collaborative process where a practitioner helps clients identify and achieve personal or professional goals. The practitioner provides support, encouragement and accountability but do not offer therapy.

Life coaching focuses on the present and future, aiming to help clients set and reach goals, while therapy often addresses past issues and emotional healing.

Who can benefit from Life Coaching?
Anyone looking to improve their personal or professional life, achieve goals or make significant changes can benefit from life coaching.
It is especially useful for those feeling stuck or in need of direction. Ultimately the only person who can change your life is you, however a Life Coach can provide valuable guidance and support on that journey.
Look for a qualified Life Coach with relevant experiences and a coaching style that matches your preferences. Read the website and their own story. Is there anything within that resonates with you. It is often helpful to have an initial consultation to ensure a good fit.

How long does life coaching lasts?
The duration varies depending on your needs and goals. Some people may benefit from a few sessions, while others may work with me for a few months.
How much should you pay for a
Life Coach?
The rates charged by Life Coaches can vary significantly, with some charging between £50 and £55 per hour, while others
may charge several hundred pounds per hour.
I personally charge £50 per hour but reductions are available with block bookings.

When evaluating the cost of life coaching, it's important to consider the potential benefits such as increased confidence or greater happiness. Reflect on what these outcomes would be worth to you personally.

It's also essential to acknowledge that meaningful change takes time and dedication. Depending on your goals, you might need to work with a coach for several months or even longer.
